Don't Fall in the Knowledge Gap
Abstract:
Today, of course, expertise is deeply embedded within organisations both supplying and applying engineering plastics, especially with regard to the automotive industry. Now we must hope the custodians and potential users of materials, fluids and systems based on the rapidly expanding nanotechnologies do not allow history to repeat itself.
Hailed as the next big thing, nanotechnology generated $1.11 billion in the global automotive sector in 2004, even though there are as yet few commercial products.
