Nanotech gets funding
Abstract:
Oregon's legislators were looking optimistically to the promise of nanotech when they voted to fund the state's first signature research center with $21 million.
The new center, Oregon Nanoscience and Microtechnologies Institute, was created as a "virtual" institute, housed partly in a building whose lease was donated by Hewlett-Packard Co. in Corvallis.
