Govt puts £20m behind nanotech
Abstract:
Giving UK industry access to advanced micro- and nanotechnologies is the aim of a £20m round of funding announced last week as part of the Government’s £90m micro-nanotechnology (MNT) programme.
“This new round of funding is very different from anything else,” said Rob Santilli, marketing and commercial director at Oxfordshire-based Applied Microengineering (AML). “This is a capital bid that allows you to buy equipment to then provide a service that is missing in the UK infrastructure.”
