Abstract:
One area that Bayer intends to continue to develop is nanotechnology. MaterialScience is developing a way to use nanotechnology to increase storage capacity on DVDs and CDs from gigabytes to terabytes, which would enable much more material, including archived materials, to be stored on a single disk.
