New Zealand nano conference highlights need for more funding
Abstract:
Imagine technology so sensitive it can detect a single molecule. Victoria University physicist Pablo Etchegoin's award-winning work, which could one day help detect disease in our cells, is just one of several world-class projects under way at New Zealand's MacDiarmid Institute. Such is New Zealand's reputation in nanotechnology that two Nobel prize winners were among 350 delegates at the institute's conference last month.
