IBM opens centre at U of A
Abstract:
A collaboration between IBM, the University of Alberta, and the Alberta government is bringing a new $1.2 million research centre to campus.
“The main purpose will be to link U of A researchers in certain key areas of machine learning, nanotechnology and bioinformatics to the research centres within IBM,” said Dr Paul Sorenson, vice-provost (information technology) at the U of A.
