Moves to third in research funds
Abstract:
Five years ago, when the National Science Foundation calculated by state the amount of federal research funding given to universities, colleges and medical schools, Texas ranked sixth.
Texas is already a leader in nanotechnology, the science of creating incredibly small machines and materials, said Elias Zerhouni, director of the National Institutes of Health.
