Prominent Iranian hard-liner announces bid for presidency

Abstract:
Another top Iranian hard-liner, Ali Larijani, announced Monday that he was entering the race to become the Islamic republic's next president.

He said a priority in the economy was investment in four fields: nanotechnology, biotechnology, nuclear technology for non-military purposes and information and communications technologies.
