2005 Will Be A Very Good Year For IPOs
Abstract:
Technology deals will remain strong in 2005, but biotechnology and nanotechnology will continue to lag despite their long-term promise. Most investors are unwilling to take on great risk with no immediate prospect of a return. Expect retail investors to return to the new-issues market in growing numbers next year, and look for discount brokers to crank up their IPO programs.
