Nano tech spurs big-time experiments at UoP
Abstract:
For the industry using plasma for different purposes, this is a unique exercise that holds the promise of securing nano materials on a fairly large scale. In the words of researchers at the University of Pune (UoP)’s department of physics, it is "from the usual micro-gram quantity to gram quantity."
The application of such high quantum nano materials are wide-ranging — from wear resistance multi-layer nano coatings to catalysis in power generation, refractories for hitech ceramics and several other fields.
