Abstract:
Carnegie Mellon University is hosting a panel discussion on the impact of government funding on nanotech firms. The Commonwealth Club Silicon Valley will participate as the event sponsor.

Some areas the discussion will cover includes: the effect proposed policies will have on government investment in nanotech start-ups, which sectors are positioned to receive the most benefit from the funding, the ways in which the funding will facilitate product development and the opportunities and limitations of government funding versus private investment.
