Nanotechnology set to boost photonics
Abstract:
The science of nanotechnology is likely to have a profound impact on the world of photonics, according to a study just published by Strategies Unlimited. The Californian market analyst believes that materials engineering on the sub-micrometre scale will result in a plethora of new optical devices with enhanced performance or functionality.
