Shaky probe sees finer details
Abstract:
Near-field scanning optical microscopy offers a way to beat the usual resolution limit of light-based microscopes. A new approach releases its true potential to see at the nanoscale.
Using their new method, the researchers have taken images of objects such as quantum dots just a few nanometres across.
