Air Force drops $21 million check at Rentschler Field
Abstract:
The $21 million represents the future for the abandoned former airfield off Silver Lane, a flat empty field commercial realtors boast is the largest parcel of developable industrial land between Boston and New York.
The non-profit center will explore a number of technologies, hopefully spinning off new products and manufacturing methods in the areas of nanotechnology, lasers and fuel cell technology.
