Philips repositions itself as healthcare electronics major
Abstract:
Dutch electronics major Philips has redefined its growth strategy globally and is now repositioning itself as a "healthcare electronics giant."
While Philips already has products for the healthcare sector, the company is adopting a two pronged strategy, concentrating on using their existing skill sets in bridging the gap between patients and doctors as well as investing in research in areas ranging from nanotechnology to cancer research.
