New technology pinpoints cancer more accurately

Abstract:
Physicist Naomi Halas created tiny particles not unlike microscopic malted milk balls. Called nano-shells, they capture light and convert it to heat that has in lab tests on mice destroyed tumors."I'm very interested in seeing nanoshells used as a general tool across a variety of organ systems for cancer."
