Japan's Bridgestone to enter ultra-thin flat panel business

Abstract:
Japan's top tiremaker Bridgestone Corp. said Wednesday it will launch a specialist, ultra-thin flat-panel display business in 2005, capitalizing on its nanotechnology already in use for making tires.
