CINT To Hold Third Users Workshop

The DOE Center for Integrated Nanotechnologies (CINT) will hold its third Users Workshop, January 20-21, 2005, in Albuquerque, NM. This is an opportunity for the nanoscience community to become involved in CINT as well as to shape its future. Workshop attendees will learn about the new Facilities under construction and exciting research results from CINT Users currently at Sandia and Los Alamos National Laboratories. The "CINT Discovery Platform" concept will be launched as a means whereby Users can interact with CINT to create modular micro/nano devices designed specifically for nanoscience integration research. The CINT Expo will provide a step-by-step guide to becoming a CINT User and ample time for prospective Users to discuss the research capabilities with the CINT scientists.

CINT is a DOE Office of Science Nanoscale Science Research Center operating as a national user facility dedicated to establishing the scientific principles that govern the design, performance, and integration of nanoscale materials. You can find all the Workshop logistics including a registration form and hotel information on our website: cint.lanl.gov/workshop.html.

This workshop is open to the interested public
