Swiss research boosted by reverse brain drain
Abstract:
Top European academics are increasingly turning their backs on the United States and returning to Europe as their discontentment grows with the policies of President Bush.
Viola Vogel, since last April professor in the department of materials at the ETH after 16 years in the US, says she never intended to leave America.
But it was the change in the political climate and the policies of the Bush administration that pushed her to make a definitive decision to leave.
