U. of Maryland seeks $24M for nanotech center
Abstract:
The University System of Maryland's top administrator wants state lawmakers to invest $24 million to make Maryland a leading center of nanotechnology research. Chancellor William E. "Brit" Kirwan hopes to use the money to build new research facilities and recruit star scientists working in the emerging field.
