Physicist Schuller at UCSD honored
Abstract:
A UCSD physicist and pioneer in nanotechnology is one of seven scientists nationwide to receive the Department of Energy's highest honor, the E.O. Lawrence Award, the federal agency announced yesterday.
Ivan K. Schuller, a materials scientist who has worked at the University of California San Diego since 1987, is noted for creating the field of "metallic superlattices."
