Abstract:
The National Science Foundation is once again investing in "cutting-edge, high-risk, high quality scientific, engineering or science/engineering education research with a clear goal of industrial innovation that would benefit society through commercialization."
Included in the mix is "Unit Process Level Technologies" such as Passive Nanotechnology Applications and Active Nantotechnology Applications, "Machine Level Technologies" such as Functional Nanostructures, "Systems Level Technologies" such as Nanoscale Processes, and "Environment or Societal Level Technologies" such as Nanoparticle Safety Technologies.
