No surprise in upstate reaching new economic lows
Abstract:
Creating jobs that pay well as manufacturing jobs dried up has been a constant problem upstate. If it were not for government jobs here in the Capital District, we would be experiencing the same situation as Rochester and Buffalo. There is hope on the horizon, however, as nanotechnology and biotechnology efforts at area universities bring the promise of new jobs for the future.
