Spin-off firm banks on nanotechnology
Abstract:
TAL Materials, a University of Michigan technology spin-off, changed its name to nanocerox Inc. last week as it rides the boom in nanotechnology to win sales in the private sector.
Founded in 1996, the company makes mixed-metal oxide nanoscale ceramic powders, with a wide variety of applications, including military armor, paint pigments, lighting components and sensors.
