TEL invests in nano-imprint litho startup MII
Abstract:
Japanese IC-equipment giant Tokyo Electron Ltd. (TEL) Tuesday (August 24) disclosed that it has made an equity investment in Molecular Imprints Inc. (MII), a developer of nano-imprint lithography tools. The funding is part of MII's Series B funding round. TEL joins KLA-Tencor, Carl Zeiss SMT, Motorola and others as a strategic investor in the Austin, Tex.-based company. MII originally announced its Series B $30 million funding round in December.
