Finally, state has a budget
Abstract:
State lawmakers Wednesday completed a 2004-2005 budget intended to bring in about $851 million in new revenue to help balance hundreds of millions of dollars in greater spending and borrowing. The spending plan includes $723.4 million in additional borrowing for public colleges, including nearly $80 million more than Pataki proposed for the University at Albany. UAlbany would use it for nanotechnology and cancer research programs.
