Israeli venture firm expands in new sectors
Abstract:
Pitango Venture Capital said on Wednesday that it had raised $300 million for its fourth fund to invest in companies with operations in Israel specializing in communications, information technology and health care. "In addition to the traditional sectors we currently invest in, we will be looking at investment opportunities in the homeland security and nanotechnology markets," Chemi Peres, a general partner and co-founder, said in a statement.
