Abstract:
The Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) held a press conference June 30 to unveil several new products it has developed that effectively merge the fields of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics manufacturing. This unlikely combination comes courtesy of a new form of nano-encapsulation technology that allows minute amounts of Chinese medicinal herbs to slowly leech into the skin of the wearer at a predetermined rate of diffusion.
