A Random Walk(er) through the future, part III
Abstract:
The Business 4 Site conference last month in Los Angeles was an exciting peek at the future of business and technology. What will the future look like? Any discussion of technology and the future must include health and medicine. Kurzweil started with a discussion of respirocytes. First described in 1996, these little nanomachines are nothing less than artificial red blood cells. With the ability to store and release oxygen in the blood, applications range from universal transfusions to the treatment of various diseases.
