Heated nanoshells kill cancer cells

Abstract:
US researchers are hailing a non-invasive treatment which destroys tumours by heat a success after the first phase of animal testing. According to the team from Rice University and its licensee, Nanospectra Bioscience, the method has eradicated tumours in mice and does not affect healthy tissue. (more on earlier article)
