Abstract:
Two Rice University members have been named 2004 Key Women in Energy -- Americas honorees, a competition that recognizes women in the Western Hemisphere for their contributions to the energy sector or related businesses. Vicki Colvin, professor of chemistry and director of the Center for Biological and Environmental Nanotechnology, won the top award in the Innovation/Creativity category.
