Environmental Technology Gaining Momentum
Abstract:
At a private lab in Silicon Valley’s Menlo Park last month, Michael Pak held up the key to his startup’s future: a small model of a nanocrystal of platinum alloy. The chief executive of Nanostellar is banking on his firm’s ability to develop a new type of precious metal alloy composite, that will make catalysts in both cars and fuel cells much cheaper and more efficient.
