Science institute will open today
Abstract:
The Oregon Nanoscience and Microtechnologies Institute opens today - and with it the potential for the state to lead in the field of atom-sized science. The institute, based at the Hewlett-Packard campus in Corvallis, will house research in this so-called “tiny science,” and officials hope it positions Oregon as a national leader in nanotechnology research and development.
