N.D.'s 1st microchip may mean more jobs
Abstract:
By extending a $35 million financial package for Alien Technology, a Morgan Hill, Calif., firm that soon will be a tenant at NDSU's research and technology park, the state now has a foothold in the fledgling nanotechnology industry, Hoeven said. The university's high-performance, supercomputing program enables researchers to more quickly develop new products, including drugs and coatings, Boudjouk said.
