Nanotechnology speaker attracts dreamers, doers

Abstract:
When Dr. Laurey Stryker asked 14-year-old Jennifer Wedebrock what she wanted to be when she grew up, the straight-A student bound for Lakewood Ranch High School gave her answer without hesitation: a nanotechnologist. Stryker, chairwoman of the Sarasota County Committee for Economic Development, was so impressed that she invited Wedebrock to a luncheon speech by William Atkinson, author of the popular "Nanocosm."
