Abstract:
Ray Kurzweil will keynote the "Breakthrough Technologies for the World's Biggest Problems" conference on April 27-28 in Arlington, VA, sponsored by the Arlington Institute. The event will focus on "the biggest problems that humanity must address in the future" and how breakthrough technologies might solve them -- without harm. It will showcase emerging technologies, including carbon-based fuel cells, superconductors, a technology for turning waste materials into building blocks, and a universal vaccine.
