Kopin's CyberLite LED Wins "Product of the Year'' Award
Abstract:
Kopin Corp. today announced that its CyberLite(TM) light-emitting diode was chosen as Product of the Year by the editorial staff of Electronic Products Magazine. Kopin's CyberLite achieved very high power efficiency, electrostatic robustness and miniaturization in a single blue LED. These unique nanosemiconductor LEDs, fabricated from Gallium Nitride grown on sapphire substrates, are as bright as those commercially available yet smaller than a grain of sand and consume much lower voltage, making them ideal for mobile, wireless and portable-lighting devices.
