Samsung launches health conscious products
Abstract:
Samsung has applied the sophisticated nano-technology to develop a sterilizing function in its home appliances, removing 99.9 % of the two harmful microorganisms, Staphylococci and Escherichia coli. Samsung Gulf Electronics Senior Manager Mr. Keun Sang Yoo, 'Low temperature in refrigerator retards proliferation of bacteria but cannot completely prevent it from growing. The interior of Samsung refrigerators and washing machines is now coated with nano-size silver that brings sterilization, anti bacteria and deodorization effects.'
