Virginia Tech given cash rewards by the Department of Defense
Abstract:
The Department of Defense recently granted four research projects at Virginia Tech monetary awards to assist in future projects. A total of 213 awards were distributed to research institutions working on programs potentially influencing the Department of Defense. Romesh Batra said the parallel computer will be used to “design nanocomposites with carbon nanotubes, body armor for soldiers ....”
