PA Gov. Announces $2M in Funding for Technology Projects
Abstract:
PA Community and Economic Development Secretary Dennis Yablonsky today announced over $2 million in funding by the Ben Franklin Technology Development Authority to support Governor Edward G. Rendell's technology-focused economic development strategy. The BFTDA awarded $252,506 from the 2003-04 budget to expand The John A. Swanson Institute for Technical Excellence (SITE). SITE is an administrative entity that houses the John A. Swanson Center for Micro and Nano Systems (SCMNS) and the John A. Swanson Center for Product Innovation (SCPI) at the University of Pittsburgh.
