Imaging: Mini X-ray tube sees the details
Abstract:
A miniaturized X-ray source developed by A. Haga et al. can produce X-ray images at very high resolution. The instrument reveals features as small as 20 µm across in microelectronic circuitry, making it potentially valuable for non-destructive evaluation of electronics. It also shows delicate bone structure and other fine details in biomedical imaging.
