PSU nanoscientist wins NSF award, grant
Abstract:
A Portland State University physics professor has won the National Science Foundation's Career Award, which includes a five-year, $400,000 grant to support research into carbon nanotubes. Jun Jiao, assistant professor of physics and co-director of Portland State's Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, will examine new techniques in fabricating carbon nanotubes that can be produced more accurately and on larger scales.
