Conference focuses on 'breakthrough' technology
Abstract:
Florida's first statewide technology transfer conference is expected to draw about 400 people to the St. Petersburg Hilton on May 17 and 18. Sponsored by the Florida Research Consortium and the Tampa Bay Technology Forum, the sessions are geared to match ongoing research at 12 Florida universities with investment groups and companies that might back commercial applications. The focus is on "breakthrough" information technology, biotechnology and nanotechnology.
