Nanotechnology company could locate in High Point
Abstract:
High Point City Council will consider $71,400 in incentives on March 29 that could lure QuarTek International Inc., a startup nanotechnology company, the city's economic development corporation said today. QuarTek is a privately held company launched by Reyad Sawafta, a former nuclear physicist at N.C. A&T State University and former vice president of technology at TransTech Pharma in High Point, and later CEO of PharmaCore, a TransTech-related biotech firm.
