Altair Nanotechnologies Provides Shareholder Update
Abstract:
In December 2003, Altair announced a restructuring program allowing management to focus exclusively on nanotechnology and materials science. As part of the restructuring strategy, Altair has made a decision to spin off its mineral recovery systems division, which includes assets such as the exploration stage mining project in Tennessee, the centrifugal jig and certain intellectual properties. These assets currently do not carry a book value on Altair's balance sheet.
