$24.4 million approved for new Clarion tech, science center
Abstract:
A $24.4 million grant for Clarion University has been approved, and the money will be used to replace the Peirce Science Center and construct a new, state-of-the-art facility for students, faculty and administrators. A new facility will create an environment for new lab experiences, emerging studies in the new field of nano-technology manufacturing, support for Geographic Information System applications with economic development implications, and increased opportunities for distance learning.
