Scientists on track for the 360mph train ride

Abstract:
A Bath professor is researching a super train which could offer weary travellers a glimmer of hope. Professor Simon Bending, of the University of Bath, said the hi-tech design, which uses nanotechnology, could be developed within two years if financial backing could be secured. Nanotechnology can change the property of materials, so in this case, the material used to make the train has been adapted to allow a large current to pass through without it getting too hot.
