NGK Develops DDR-Type Zeolite Membranes
Abstract:
NGK Insulators has developed zeolite membranes that show a molecular sieving effect with nano size micropores. Zeolite membranes are formed by a hydrothermal synthesis process on a porous ceramic substrate to a thickness of about 5 mm. Using this new product, NGK has successfully isolated carbon dioxide from a mixture of methane and carbon dioxide.
