Abstract:
Applied research in diverse areas such as microelectronics and nanotechnology has been going on at the National Microelectronics Research Centre (NMRC) in Cork for the last 20 years. With research forming a vital part of longer-term government strategy, Anthony Quinn spoke face to face with director Prof. Gabriel Crean of NMRC, the principal Irish ICT research institute.
