Kentucky reaching for under the stars
Abstract:
A NASA official's Elizabethtown ties helped land a Kentucky agency an office in a space research center. The new office, which will open in about a month, will allow Kentucky technicians and college students to work alongside National Aeronautics and Space Administration technicians as they develop equipment to, among other things, probe subsurface regions of other planets. The KSTC, which will pay its own expenses, will also develop equipment under the umbrellas of computer science, nanotechnology and biotechnology.
